Monk Fx is a 5 piece instrumental band formed in Larnaca, characterised by a focus on exploring textures and timbre over traditional rock song structures, loose and lengthy song structures centred on instrumental hypnotic space, a new generation of alternative/indie band that draw from psychedelic rock, space rock, ambient music, and — more often than not — experimental and avant-garde influences.
