About “Joakem”

Spearheaded by Stelios Ioakim, Joakem delivers a progressive metal punch with diverse musicianship, broad influences, and full-band collaboration with some of the top musicians Cyprus has to offer. Joakem’s music blends atmospheric depth and gripping melodies with expressive heaviness and rhythmic complexity. Following the release of the debut album “Mind Matter”, in April 2026, they released their comeback single, “Origins” – the first song from their upcoming second album – returning with a heavier, more refined, and more technical sound. Joakem is currently performing both locally and internationally, forging their path across stages worldwide as the next era rises.
